The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has opened recruitment for qualified nationals of its member states, with opportunities available across several professional, administrative and technical fields.
The regional organisation is inviting eligible candidates to apply for vacancies within its specialised agencies and institutions, including the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice, ECOWAS Parliament, West African Health Organisation (WAHO) and the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA).
The recruitment exercise covers a wide range of professional areas, including information technology, human resources, trade, health, finance, energy and legal affairs.
ECOWAS was established on May 28, 1975, and is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. Its official working languages are English, French and Portuguese.

ECOWAS Recruitment Age Requirements
Age limits depend on the category of the position being advertised.
General Services/Support positions (G1–G7): Applicants must be under 35 years.
Professional positions (P1–P7): Applicants must be under 45 years.
Director positions (D1–D2): Applicants must be under 50 years.
Candidates should confirm the grade and category of their preferred vacancy before applying.
